Animating

Throught the course of animating the film I found it fun animating the aliens as their movement was somthing I was exited about from the start. However I found that I had to keep re-sculpting them numourous times. I would say I destroyed and remade Nworb and NIbor around 10 times during this period.

I had some trouble with operating the camera, mainly with the focus. Here is my 1st attempt of Nibor laughing on the spaceship


once I had got the camera sorted it was just a case of getting the right lighting for each scene. I found this quite tricky and sometimes using up a whole day just trying to get the perfect lighting.

Another tricky thing was the blue screen stuff, a lot of compositing went into it in post, and is still continuing. This prooved trickier than I thought and took longer than I had anticipated.
